Many of our campsites are located in the centre of towns and villages listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. In Provence, you can admire the famous Palace of the Popes and St-Bénézet Bridge from your pitch at the 4-star Camping du Pont d’Avignon campsite on the island of La Barthelasse.
In Auvergne, you can climb to the top of Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe Rock when you stay at Camping du Puy-en-Velay. A little farther south in Brioude, visit the most beautiful and largest Romanesque church only a few kilometres from our Camping de la Bageasse campsite.
Then set off in the direction of Morvan for a change in scenery! Does a timeless journey into the past sound appealing for your next holiday? Open your eyes wide to take in the well-known ‘Augustodunum’ son-et-lumière show that is held in the ruins of the Roman theatre. Just a few kilometres away, you can become an archaeologist for the day when you take part in the Gallic Days in Bibracte or visit Alésia MuséoParc.
