133 camping pitches
Pets welcome
Ideally located on the banks of the river and just 200 metres from the medieval village of Grez-sur-Loing with its sites and shops, this campsite is the perfect stopping point if you are travelling from north to south, just before or after a visit to Paris. The French capital is only 1 hour and 20 minutes away by car. We have a range of spacious pitches, either marked out or else in the ‘bivouac’ area so you get a really natural feel!
Our campsite has 133 pitches in an area of 7 hectares, set amidst grassy fields, attractive woodland and a pond for fishing. You will find yourself only 10 minutes from Fontainebleau, a popular holiday spot that is renowned for its famous chateau, forest and bouldering sites. Many boulderers the world over come to train on its rocks. Numerous other activities are on offer nearby, ranging from rock climbing to walking, bike rides and horseback riding in the majestic Fontainebleau forest!
You will be enthralled as you visit the traditional and picturesque villages in the area: Bourron-Marlotte (a village to see the art of French living), Nemours and its chateau, Samois-sur-Seine (a waterside village) and Barbizon (the famous village of artists).
Culture and art are of particular importance here and are celebrated in all their forms via many festivals: through cinema during the Series Series festival, or jazz during the international Django Reinhardt festival.
Don't miss the key events near the campsite : Django Reinhardt international jazz festival in June, Imperial Trail: a unique race in Fontainebleau forest in September, Saint-Louis Day fireworks: in the gardens of Fontainebleau Chateau in August.
Our campers are looking for a peaceful place to spend a great vacation close to nature. To encourage them to make great discoveries, we love to advise them on the best addresses!
