The Allier beaches are an ideal place for anyone who loves bathing in natural waters. Benefit from the supervised beach in July and August, as well as direct access from the campsite. Your children will be able to play in the water in complete safety!
After a fun-filled day, you can visit Brioude, a small town with the largest Romanesque church in Auvergne. Be careful not to miss the villages of Lavaudieu and Besle a little further on, they are listed as some of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages in France’. And the ’Apéros Musique’ festival in mid-August is a meeting point for all styles of music!
A very unusual way to explore this superb region is on the Allier Gorges tourist train. Set off for adventure as you travel along the sides of the gorges for an extraordinary experience that will leave unforgettable memories. The views of the volcanic gorges and villages are simply breath taking!
