Nevers is a Town of Art and History, located in Burgundy and only 240km south of Paris. Come and relax at this stopping point on the famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, and visit the Sanctuary of Bernadette-Soubirous (museum, cave and chapel). All roads lead to Nevers, whether by bike or by car, as the town is on the well-known Loire à Vélo cycling route.
Endowed with a remarkably rich history, Nevers is also well-known for its high-quality earthenware.
The campsite is located alongside Europe’s last remaining wild river and is heaven on earth for fishing enthusiasts.
Make the most of your stay with peaceful walks or a trip down Nivernais canal on a traditional flat-bottomed boat.
The Nevers-Magny-Cours racing circuit is only 17km away, so you can take advantage of major events such as the Superbike Championships and the famous Classic Days.
Our campsite has 74 spacious pitches marked out in an area of 1.6 hectares. You can choose to stay on a traditional camping pitch or in one of our mobile homes. Enjoy the beautiful natural setting that is within easy reach of the town centre. It is ideal for visits to the historical town of Nevers: just take the Ligne Bleue to the splendid Ducal Palace or Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Julitte Cathedral.
Don't miss the key events near the campsite : ‘Les Zaccros d’ma Rue’ street festival in early July (2km), USON Nevers Rugby: matches throughout the season (2km), Nevers trade fair in March (4km), Nevers-Magny-Cours racing circuit (17km): Classic Days event at the end of april and ENI Superbike World Championships in September.
